Press Eye - Security Alert - Ardoyne Road - Belfast - 12th February
Police are investigating reports of two suspicious devices being left in the Ardoyne Road and Antrim Road areas of north Belfast. Officers received reports shortly before 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.
The first report was that a device had been left in the vicinity of a school on the Ardoyne Road, while the second report was in connection with a device being left in the vicinity of a premises on the Antrim Road.
Following police searches of the Antrim Road area, no device was located. No roads were closed and no homes or businesses were evacuated during the search.Police are currently in attendance at a security alert in the Ardoyne Road area where searches are ongoing.
