2 Mercian Regiment were welcomed back from Afganistan to their home base at Palace Barracks with a 'Homecoming' parade through Holywood at the invitaion of North Down Borough council yesterday.Around 450 Soldiers paraded led by the Regimental Mascot - Lance Corporal Derby (a Ram) and the Band of the Prince of Wales' Division.
