Press Eye - Belfast - Northern Ireland - Sunday 15th April 2012 -

The 100th Anniversary Titanic Commemoration Service at Belfast City Hall.

A new memorial garden was unveiled following an inter-faith remembrance service and included performances from the Belfast Youth Orchestra and the Harlandic and Queens Island Victoria Male voice choirs.

This is the only memorial in the world to name all who were lost on RMS Titanic. Many existing memorials failed to include the Titanic crew or musicians. Bronze plaques bear the names of all those who died during the ship’s maiden voyage in April 1912.

Members of the public at the ceremony in Belfast when relatives laid flowers and wreaths at the new memorial.
