Colum Egan, Master Distiller at the Old Bushmills Distillery, pictured with Philip Tweedy Captain at Royal Portrush Golf Club, announcing Bushmills Irish Whiskey’s sponsorship of the 2012 Irish Open. To celebrate the sponsorship, Colum is offering the winner of the tournament the ‘Freedom of the Old Bushmills Distillery’, an honour that will see them granted access to his private reserve. The Distillery will also be the unofficial 19th hole for the tournament – it is just four miles between Bushmills and the course.
