A criminal investigation into Belfast-based journalists Trevor Birney(left) and Barry McCaffrey(centre), who were arrested over confidential material they aired in a documentary, has been dropped. The 'No Stone Unturned' documentary examined the Loughinisland killings where six men were shot by the UVF as they sat in a bar in the Co. Down town in 1994.
The two journalists attended Castlreagh PSNI station today where they were able to get back all their seized material after the case was dropped.
