A fire at an unoccupied flat in east Belfast is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life according to the PSNI.
The blaze happened at a flat in the Grace Avenue area of the city in the early hours of Sunday.
Crews from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.
PSNI Detective Sergeant McCartan said: Thankfully, no-one was present in the flat at the time and no injuries were reported.
At this stage, we are treating this as arson with intent to endanger life and would ask that anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have dashcam or other footage, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 4 of 8/5/22.
